Band is a class in which students learn the fundamentals of music literacy and how to play a brass, woodwind, or percussion instrument. Instrument options include Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone (after showing proficiency on the Clarinet), Trumpet, French Horn (after showing proficiency on the Trumpet), Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, and percussion instruments starting with bellset and snare drum. Students have the opportunity to rent instruments from WCMS. Band students perform at four concerts throughout the year.
