TED ED (Technology, Engineering & Design Education)

This 9 week course will challenge students to use “Design Thinking” by Researching, Designing, Planning, Creating and Evaluating each of their projects.

Students will be building projects, testing it and evaluating it to see if they can improve on their first design. 21st Century Skills, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication and problem solving will be emphasized in this class. Projects and challenges are based on grade level. Some projects that we create are; CO2 Dragsters, Hydro Rockets, Turbine Blades, Mousetrap Cars, Estes Rockets, Trebuchets, Wooden Pens, and many more. This hands-on STEM class is designed to help students be more comfortable with using tools, learning from failures, and building confidence through their hard work.
